In the latest COVID-19 cases report from the Government of the Aloha State, 162 new Hawaii COVID-19 cases were reported bringing the total to 40,984 (up 0.4% from the previous day). To date, 1,828,661 COVID-19 tests have been conducted with 38,950 resulting in a positive reading and marking today’s positivity rate at 4.7%.
Currently, the average daily cases is 190.4. There were a total of 2,143 cases reported in the past 14 days. Total deaths to date are 529 (1.3%). At present, there are 90 people hospitalized due to COVID-19. 7 more than yesterday.
