First Significant Drop of New Hawaii COVID-19 Cases: 437 on 8/9
In the latest COVID-19 cases report from the Government of the Aloha State, 437 new Hawaii COVID-19 cases were reported bringing the total to 46,940 (up 0.9% from the previous day), and one more person died from COVID. To date, 1,914,090 COVID-19 tests have been conducted with 44,649 resulting in a positive reading and marking today’s positivity rate at 7.3%.
Currently, the average daily cases is 501.7. There were a total of 5,782 cases reported in the past 14 days. Total deaths to date are 543 (1.2%). At present, there are 184 people hospitalized due to COVID-19.
