Honolulu Zoo and public golf courses closed due to weather
The Department of Enterprise Services (DES) alerts the public that the Honolulu Zoo and all six city golf courses are temporarily closed due to impacts from the severe weather storm impacting O‘ahu.
Scheduled tee times at the Ala Wai, Ewa Villages, Kahuku, Pali, Ted Makalena or West Loch golf courses today will automatically be canceled.
The storm impacts are forecasted to continue through Dec. 7, which may require the continued closures at the facilities. Additional announcements will be made as the operating hours are determined.
In addition, the Honolulu City Lights displays featured inside Honolulu Hale closed at 4:30 p.m. Monday, instead of the normal closing time of 10 p.m.
