Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel renovation well underway

Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel is well underway with its $46 million renovation and transformation to the soon-to-debut The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort. Although the resort’s full completion and official debut of the reimagined property won’t come until May 2018, the resort as Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel is up and running and will remain open through its conversion to a Westin.

The Westin Beach Hapuna Resort will be the only Westin on the Big Island of Hawaii and will be located on the famed Hapuna Beach. In its current form, the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel has the following available for guests:

• Redesigned guest rooms and suites (140 of 232 rooms, inclusive of suites); Hapuna’s guest rooms are among the largest on the Kohala Coast.

• A new adults-only pool offering a serene poolside experience overlooking the award-winning Hapuna Beach.

• Four new dining concepts: Meridia, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant boasting a display kitchen, craft cocktails, and expanded al fresco dining; Naupaka Beach Grill, an innovative casual restaurant featuring an extensive list of local brews on tap; ‘Ikena Landing, an open-air breakfast venue with a buffet, a la carte options, and fresh juices by The Juicery®; and Piko Coffee+Bar, a barista bar serving 100-percent Kona coffee, refreshing libations, a light menu, and fresh grab ‘n go selections.

• A sophisticated and artfully-designed lobby experience includes a new Living Wall vertical garden and interactive check-in pods.
