Hawaii celebrates Make Music Day on June 21

The Mayor’s Office of Culture and the Arts, in partnership with Royal Hawaiian Center and Make Music Hawaiʻi, presents MAKE MUSIC DAY on Monday, June 21, 2021.  Enjoy free performances at the Royal Grove in the Royal Hawaiian Center, Waikīkī from 11 a.m. through 7:30 p.m.

Live performances will showcase music and dance from Hawaiʻi, Sāmoa, Tahiti, and Korea.

Make Music Day is held every year on June 21st in over 1,000 cities and 120 countries. This effort celebrates music and is shared through live events, programs, virtual events and live streams, founded to help elevate Hawaiʻi’s music, hula, and unique cultural assets in Honolulu and beyond.
