Maui’s newest and most exclusive rental estate redefines luxury accommodation

There’s a new player in the luxury rental accommodation space on Maui – one that blends modern features, amenities and services with deep roots in the island’s storied history. Haiku House Maui publicly announced today that it is accepting bookings for stays on its property. The news is set to shake up the hotel and hospitality industry on Maui, offering a unique, upscale hotel alternative not found anywhere else on the island.

The estate, which boasts nine suites and an additional flex space, sits on 20 accessible acres of stunning, botanically diverse Hawaiian land. It is rented in its entirety, can accommodate up to 20 guests, is staffed and offers a number of customizable amenities and services by request, including a private chef, grocery service, airport transfers and curated experiences that are unique to Maui and infuse elements of Hawaiian culture.

Located on Maui’s north shore, the property’s features include a heated pool, outdoor communal fire place, lawn games, arboretum, orange orchard and garden, where guests have the opportunity to pick locally grown ingredients to incorporate into farm-to-table dinners, craft cocktails and other culinary enjoyments.

“People are increasingly craving unique, immersive experiences that reflect a travel destination’s culture, tradition and values,” said Haiku House spokesperson Erica Chan. “A stay at Haiku House delivers all of that, plus premium services and amenities, and the privacy and exclusivity that only an estate can offer.”

The estate recently enlisted the services of Honolulu-based interior design firm The Vanguard Theory to refresh its interior. The result is upscale, modernized features and decor that maintain many of the original design elements of the property, added by owners over the years, that give it its unique character and charm. These include the Koa wood floors, dining room wallpaper, and screened-in lanai. It is the ideal location for vacation stays, corporate retreats, workshops and wedding accommodations for couples getting married at venues on the island.
