41 New Hawaii COVID-19 Cases: 3/23
In the latest COVID-19 cases report from the Government of the Aloha State, 41 new Hawaii COVID-19 cases were reported bringing the total to 28,892 (up 0.1% from the previous day). To date, 1,225,693 COVID-19 tests have been conducted with 28,775 resulting in a positive reading and marking today’s positivity rate at 1.5%.
Currently, the average daily cases is 73.9. There were a total of 885 cases reported in the past 14 days. Total deaths to date are 454 (1.6%). At present, there are 30 people hospitalized due to COVID-19.
CURRENT TRAVEL ADVISORIES
For those considering travel within the US, be aware that COVID-19 is widespread in many communities and beginning March 26, 2021, all people entering the state of Hawaii (residents and visitors) will be subject to a mandatory 10-day quarantine or must have a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab test result from Trusted Testing and Travel Partners in accordance with the Hawaii SafeTravels pre-testing program.
