628 New Hawaii COVID-19 Cases: 8/6
In the latest COVID-19 cases report from the Government of the Aloha State, 628 new Hawaii COVID-19 cases were reported marking today’s positivity rate at 6.85%. Two more people died from COVID today.
The breakdown by island is as follows:
Hawaii County: 110
Maui County: 64
C&C Honolulu: 424
Kauai County: 9
Total cases to date is 45,245 (up 1.4% from the previous day). So far, 1,892,669 COVID-19 tests have been conducted with 43,027 resulting in a positive reading. Currently, the average daily cases is 446.7. There were a total of 4,781 cases reported in the past 14 days. Total deaths to date are 540 (1.2%).
At present, there are 185 people hospitalized due to COVID-19.
