73 New Hawaii COVID-19 Cases: 4/21

In the latest COVID-19 cases report from the Government of the Aloha State, 73 new Hawaii COVID-19 cases were reported bringing the total to 31,561 (up 0.2% from the previous day). To date, 1,386,196 COVID-19 tests have been conducted with 31,402 resulting in a positive reading and marking today’s positivity rate at 1.6%.

Currently, the average daily cases is 80.1. There were a total of 1161 cases reported in the past 14 days. Total deaths to date are 474 (1.5%). At present, there are 43 people hospitalized due to COVID-19, 2 less than yesterday.

CURRENT TRAVEL ADVISORIES

If you are considering travel within the US, be aware that COVID-19 is widespread in many communities and beginning March 26, all people entering the state of Hawaii (residents and visitors) will be subject to a mandatory 10-day quarantine or must have a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab test result from Trusted Testing and Travel Partners in accordance with the Hawaii SafeTravels pre-testing program.
