The Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) issued today the Hawaii Vacation Rental Performance Report for the month of November utilizing data compiled by Transparent Intelligence, Inc. The Hawai‘i Department of Health’s State Laboratories Division (SLD) has detected 24 additional cases of the SARS-CoV-2 variant B.1.1.529, also known as the Omicron variant. Hawaii Hotels Bring in More Revenue

Hawaii hotels statewide reported substantially higher revenue per available room (RevPAR), average daily rate (ADR), and occupancy in November 2021 compared to November 2020 when the State’s quarantine order for travelers due to the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in dramatic declines for the hotel industry. Omicron cases on the rise in Hawai‘i

The Hawai‘i Department of Health (DOH) has detected additional COVID-19 cases of the Omicron variant bringing the statewide total of Omicron cases to 50. Forty-nine of the 50 cases are on O‘ahu. The Honolulu Zoo announced that Satsuki, a 26 year-old female black rhinoceros, died Monday evening due to complications associated with illness and age.
