Hawaii Municipal golf courses now taking reservations

Advance tee time reservations for all Hawaii municipal golf courses re-opened at 6:30 a.m. today, Friday, May 1. These reservations are accepted via an automated reservation system and golf play is set to begin again on Tuesday, May 5. The driving range at Ala Wai Golf Course is also scheduled to re-open on Tuesday, May 5. Walk-in and stand-by play at municipal golf courses will not be allowed at this time.... Read More

During this same time last year, nearly 30,000 passengers arrived in Hawaii daily, including residents and visitors. Hawaii Hotel Occupancy Rate in Downward Spiral

In March 2020, Hawaii hotels statewide reported substantial declines in revenue per available room (RevPAR), average daily rate (ADR), and occupancy compared to March 2019 as tourism began to be impacted significantly by the COVID-19 pandemic. Hawaii Department of Health uses new digital tool to track COVID-19 persons

The Hawaii Department of Health (DOH) is using a new digital tool to follow up with individuals who have had close contact with a person identified by DOH as having COVID-19. The tool to track COVID-19 will improve the efficiency of data collection by public health staff.
