Hawaii Governor says keep your masks on!
The change of federal recommendatoins by the CDC that mask wearing for fully vaccinated is no longer a necessity is not yet in effect in Hawai’i and is still being evaluated.
According to Hawaii Governor Ige, wearing a mask is the law in the Aloha State and will continue to be enforced as a law.
Approximately 40 percent of all people in Hawai’i are now fully vaccinated. And just recently vaccinations were opened to children above 12.
The Governor is encouraging everyone to get the COVID-19 jabs, but at this time he said the majority of people in Hawai’i are not yet vaccinated.
