Hawaii Island Visitor Education &amp, HVCB-Awarded Brand Management

On October 4, the Hawaii Tourism Authority ( HTA ) published a Request for Proposals ( RFP 24- 06 ) as part of the procurement process. The deal was given to the Hawaii Visitors &amp, Convention Bureau after careful consideration by an examination committee.
The awardee may help HTA’s complete user education initiatives, including pre-arrival initiatives of its World Marketing Team throughout the U.S., Canada, Japan, Oceania, Korea, China, and Europe, as well as post-assembly, on-island visitation education, under the guidance of the organization and its 2020–2025 Strategic Plan and community-driven Destination Management Action Plans.
Serving as on-island representatives for HTA’s customer training, customer industry engagement, and public relations initiatives, acting as advisors on the individual islands and The Hawaiian Islands ‘ nationwide brand, working with the Global Marketing Team to create and carry out familiarization trips and press trips to tourist-friendly areas, offering island-based visitor educational support during promotions, trade shows and missions in key market areas. Coordinating with city and county government officials and designated organizations during crisis management situations are some of the support services.
According to the fiscal year budget cycle, the new contract likely start on January 1 and end on June 30, 2024, with the option to extend for an additional six-month term, four 12-month terms, or portions there. Last discussions with HTA and the availability of cash are required for lease terms, conditions, and quantities.
