Lt Governor Green is COVID-19 positive
After it was earlier reported a staff member for Lt. Governor Green was tested positive for COVID-19, the Lt. Governor received a positive result.
The Lt. Governor has been instrumental in the States’ response to the virus and is an emergency doctor by profession.
Just yesterday he criticized Honolulu Mayor Caldwell for setting restrictions during the extended “Stay Home Order” too strict.
Green received his results tonight and is isolating in a bedroom at his home.
“Lt. Gov. Green plans to continue his duties from his home as long as he’s feeling well,” Green’s office said in a press release. “Dr. Green reports that he feels fine and plans to update friends and family as he goes through what thousands of Hawaii citizens are experiencing.”
