Hawaii Tourism Authority: Visitor spending down 2.1 percent in May 2019

Hawaii vacation rental bill becomes law

The Mayor of Honolulu, Kirk Caldwell, signed Bill 89 into law today that gives the city stronger tools to regulate vacation rentals. The law also increased the fines on operators who are found in violation. It is anticipated that the new law will be challenged by the vacation rental hosting platforms as well as groups of Oahu operators. 7 names of deceased from Oahu skydiving plane crash revealed

Today, the Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office released the names of 7 of the 11 victims that died on Friday, June 21 in the horrific crash of a skydiving plane that went down at Dillingham Airfield on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.
