Ko‘olau Baptist Academy to clean along Keneke Street

On Friday, November 19, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., students and staff members from Ko‘olau Baptist Academy (KBA) will cut overgrown vegetation and pick-up litter on Keneke Street, along Kamo‘oali‘i Stream, from Kūkāne Street to the mauka end. These volunteers will perform the work under the coordination of the city’s Mālama O Ka ‘Āina (MOKA) community volunteer program, which is administered by the Department of Facility Maintenance’s (DFM) Division of Road Maintenance (DRM).

The city is grateful to the KBA volunteers for giving their time, energy, and resources to do this project. KBA’s efforts will provide a much needed service by creating a safer and more pleasant environment for the residents and visitors of the Keneke Street area. Support for this project is also being provided by DFM’s Storm Water Quality Division.
