Local Waialua Student Receives Scholarship from IBTTA
The International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association (IBTTA) Foundation, the educational and charitable arm of the worldwide association for the owners and operators of toll facilities and the businesses that serve them, announced today the selection of University of Hawaii at Manoa student Paul Hutchinson of Waialua, Hawaii, as one of five recipients of this year’s 2020 transportation scholarships.
Hutchinson is pursuing a civil engineering degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and will receive $5,000 from the IBTTA Foundation Scholarship Program designed to assist undergraduate students pursuing degrees in a transportation-related field of study, including engineering; urban and regional planning; construction management; public administration; and other related fields.

The 2020 scholarship winners will be recognized for their achievement during the Opening Ceremonies of IBTTA’s Virtual Annual Meeting & Exhibition on September 14, 2020.
