New Hours and locations for Honolulu COVID-19 testing mobile lab

The following changes to the City’s Mobile Testing Lab at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and at the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel in Waikīkī were announced today:

Effective Sunday, June 27, City’s Mobile Testing Lab at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport hours of operation will be reduced to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. As a reminder, this testing lab is located at the Diamond Head Tour Group Area, just past baggage claim 31.

Effective Wednesday, July 30, operation at the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel in Waikīkī will be closed. The number of tests administered at this location has dropped significantly since the testing requirement for inter-island travel was lifted by Governor David Ige on June 15. Until June 30, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 444 Niu Street, in the Upper Lobby.

Eligible employees can register for a test by visiting oahucitypass.lumisight.com. The below groups qualify for a free test:

  • City and County of Honolulu Employees
  • City and County of Honolulu Employees Family Member (must be of the same household)
  • City and County of Honolulu First Responder
  • City and County of Honolulu First Responder Family Member (must be of the same household)
  • Federal and State Employees working at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport
  • Oahu Educators (Pre-K to 12 Education Teachers, Higher Education Professors/Lecturers, Trade School Teachers)
  • Oahu Restaurant Workers/Food Service Industry Workers (Must provide Government issued ID with recent two weeks’ Pay Stub)
  • Oahu Correctional Facility Employees (Must provide valid government photo ID and employee ID).
  • Oahu Hotel industry employees  (Must provide valid government photo ID and employee ID/paystub or letter from your employer requesting the test)
