Local Love on Hawaii North Shore

With a lack of tourists on the islands due to the COVID-19 coronavirus, the Hawaii North Shore Chamber of Commerce has been working to boost business in the community.

At the organization’s website, a Kama’aina Promotions page has been set up where residents can explore special offerings for their weekend getaways. Local businesses are dedicated to sharing the aloha spirit by offering special discounts to Kamaʻaina.

For kama’ainas looking for something to do with the ohana and friends, Kualoa Ranch is offering a 35% discount off all Kualoa Ranch Tours through August 31, 2020. Maybe you’re enjoying a drive around the island. Stop in for lunch at Jerry’s Pizza and get 20% off the purchase of 2 large pizzas and one Italian salad. And that’s just for starters. Take a look at the growing list of North Shore kama’aina offers.

Businesses are also invited to post business-boosting specials on this page and keep the kama’aina enjoying life on the island recognizing that many are also looking for bargains. Simply email [email protected] with subject line “Kama’aina Special” and include what your business name is, the link to the special you’re offering, how long you’d like to offer the special, and any applicable contact information you’d like published such as website address and phone number. The North Shore Chamber of Commerce will post your offer on the page to send some new business your way!

The Hawaii North Shore Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1985 and works as a full time nonprofit to make the North Shore a better place to live, work, and play. Its mission is to promote, maintain, and encourage the historic, cultural, civic, and economic welfare of the North Shore community through research, education, advocacy, and related activities.

We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful loving community. Let’s all work together to promote the North Shore and make this current situation a win-win for everyone.
